About The Role
Role: Sustainability Manager – Carbon
Location: Remote, UK-based with client visits as required.
Rate: Competitive daily rate – this will be dependent on experience and in-line with market rates for the position.
Fundamentally, we are looking for someone prepared to deliver sustainable improvements for our clients and have fun whilst doing so – you are a people person who thrives on getting things done and is happy to collaborate with clients and the mnrl team to do so.
You will support client engagements (both remotely and on-site, as required) providing the following:
- Leading the creation of annual non-financial, corporate and investor reporting.
- Preparing client disclosures against regulatory frameworks.
– Assess and review client, industry and peer communications and reports to provide benchmark analysis
– Creating engaging and reader-orientated communications for clients and their stakeholders.
- Managing the collation, analysis and evaluation sustainability-related data.
- Supporting clients in understanding their risks and opportunities arising from your analysis, providing insight and recommendations accordingly.
– Writing thought leadership articles and marketing content
- Supporting the mnrl Directors with Business Development, and other hoc tasks, as needed.
About You

This goes for our people too – we’re firm believers anything can be learnt, but a good attitude and a willingness to get stuck in is essential, therefore, we’re looking for someone who meets the below and is interested in helping to build our business.
Must Haves:
- Due to our client’s locations, you must be physically based in the UK.
- A degree-level or equivalent qualification in a sustainability-related field and / or membership with a leading organisation, such as IEMA.
- 2+ years or more consultancy experience or experience in managing client engagements.
- Passionate about improving business sustainability.
- ESG, Corporate or Sustainability reporting experience.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience gained via Real Estate, Renewable Energy or Financial Services / ESG.
- Knowledge and understanding of various sustainability-related regulations, including TCFD, TNFD, SFDR and SDR.
- Project Management in a sustainability-related field.
- Working experience of Workiva or similar market solutions.
- Corporate Communications or Marketing experience.
- Presentation and data presentation experience.
